A sweet and fruity creation that can be served with sherbet as a refreshing dessert or with cottage cheese as a summer salad.

2 small cantaloupes or honeydew melons, halved and seeded2 cups (500 mL) strawberries, hulled2 cups (500 mL) orange sherbet1/2 cup (125 mL) Smucker's® Strawberry Jam1/4 cup (50 mL) orange juice Mint sprigs, optional
1. Remove fruit from melons with melon baller. Mix melon balls and strawberries; spoon into melon halves. Top each with a scoop of sherbet.2. Mix jam and orange juice; spoon over sherbet. Garnish with mint.
1. Use your favourite sherbet. Raspberry and rainbow are also nice.2. Replace sherbet with cottage cheese.3. With sherbet this also makes a refreshing light dessert.4. Look for small berries or cut large ones in half.5. The sauce is also nice simply mixed with fresh berries and topped with whipped cream.
