Sloppy Joe Pitas

Makes: 8 sandwiches

Ingredients:

1 lb (500g) ground beef or turkey
1 cup (250mL) Bick’s® Zesty Onion Relish
¼ cup (50mL) ketchup
4 pita breads (6”/15cm), halved

Directions:

1. Cook meat in large frying pan, until no longer pink. Drain.
2. Stir in relish and ketchup. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Meanwhile, if desired, wrap pitas in foil and warm in a 325°F (160°C) oven for 10 minutes.
4. Spoon meat mixture into pita halves. Serve.

Note:

1. Try the Sloppy Joes on hamburger buns instead of pitas.
