Makes: about 2 ½ cups
1/2 cup (125 mL) Bick’s® Baby Dills - Ultimate Garlic1 tbsp (15 mL) Bick’s® Baby Dills - Ultimate Garlic2 cups (500 mL) tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped2 cloves garlic, finely chopped2 tbsp (30 mL) fresh basil, finely chopped salt to taste1 tbsp (15 mL) Crisco® Canola Oil1 18” (45cm) baguette, sliced into 1/2 (1cm) rounds fresh basil for garnish, optional
1. Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC)2. Combine first 6 ingredients in medium glass bowl. Stir to combine.3. Brush one side of bread with oil and toast in preheated oven, oiled side up, until lightly browned, 5-10 minutes. Remove from oven and top each baguette slice with about 1 tbsp (15mL) of mixture. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
