Baked Cranberries and Pears

Ingredients:

2 cups (500 mL) raw cranberries
2 cups (500 mL) peeled, chopped fresh pears
1 cup (250 mL) sugar
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) ROBIN HOOD® Quick Oats
1/2 cup (125 mL) packed brown sugar
1/3 cup (75 mL) ROBIN HOOD® All Purpose Flour
1 tsp (5 mL) ground cinnamon
1 tsp (5 mL) ground nutmeg
1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 stick (1/2 stick) CRISCO® All-Vegetable Shortening Sticks, melted

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 325ºF (160°C).
2. In a 2-quart (2L) baking dish, combine cranberries, pears, and granulated sugar. In a medium bowl mix remaining ingredients; spread over cranberry-pear mixture.
3. Bake about 1 hour until lightly browned and bubbly. Serve warm or at room temperature
